The casserole should be conductive (to transmit heat so we can cook), resistant (difficult to break), rigid (so it doesn't bend) and strong (so it's difficult to scratch it).
The spoon should be resistant, rigid and strong.
Page 119 ex. 7
a) higher to lowe volume: ball, book and marble (canica)
b) greater to lesser mass: book, ball and marble
This week, read "Pure substances and mixtures" (page 110) and do: page 111 ex. 4.
Study for Thursday's questionnaire (pages 108-110)

1. The Paleolithic period began when the first hominids appeared in Africa.
2. Paleolithic people made their first tools with stone, bone and ivory.
3. The biggest development in the Paleolithic period was the control of fire.
4. Paleolithic men lived in caves.
5. The first examples of art in the Paleolithic were cave paintings and small sculptures.
This week, read "The Neolithic Period" (pages 96-97) and answer these 5 questions:
1. When did the Neolithic period begin?
2. What were the developments in the Neolithic?
3. Did people move from place to place in the Neolithic? Where did they live?
4. What appeared in the Neolithic period?
5. What were the first constructions in the Neolithic period?
Study for Thursday's questionnaire (pages 94-97). Watch these videos to help you with Prehistory (The Bronze Age will be next week, so just study the Paleolithic and Neolithic so far)
